It is my sincere desire to share with others proof of the great truth that Christian Science heals and saves. The study and application of this Science have filled my life with peace and happiness. I have experienced many blessings and healings in the past twelve years through Christian Science, among them being the. healing of blood poisoning, pneumonia, rheumatism, and grippe.

While working in the garden I was bitten by a poisonous spider. The healing of the condition which followed was brought about by my realization of the truth of Mary Baker Eddy's statement (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 463), "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive."

Some time later I was again bitten by the same type of spider. Because of the swelling and alarming appearance that became evident in a few hours, I became fearful and called a practitioner for help, which was lovingly given. I was much comforted by her calm and patient attitude. One night in great fear I again telephoned the practitioner. She remarked, "You are being afraid of good, for that is all there is." I saw what she meant, and in that moment I was free from fear and knew the healing had begun. The following day the swelling opened and drained, and I was healed.
