Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Edwardsville, Illinois (First Church).

First Church of Christ, Scientist, Edwardsville, located at 317 North Buchanan Street, dedicated its edifice Sunday with services at 11 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. The fact that a Christian Science church may not be dedicated until it is free from debt gave the dedicatory services special significance.

The services Sunday included a brief history of the growth of Christian Science in Edwardsville.
