For many years Christian Science has been my only physician, and I feel that I should like to express in writing my thanks for the blessings this truth has brought me. My first healing was an instantaneous one of influenza. I was in bed quite ill when a very dear neighbor called. Seeing my condition, she asked if I would like her to call a Christian Science practitioner. I told her I would. Within a few minutes after the call was made I was up and dressed, preparing the evening meal. At the same time I was healed of the fear of being alone after dark.

Through the help of a practitioner I experienced painless childbirth. I had just begun the study of Christian Science, and I felt that even if I never had another proof of the efficacy of Christian Science, that one would be enough to convince me of its healing power. All the discordant conditions that were predicted by medical science relative to this birth were reversed, and the experience was entirely harmonious. Through the help of the same practitioner I was healed of severe nosebleed and of a badly injured leg.

I am very grateful for the Bible Lesson Committee, which prepares the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly. Class instruction from a loving and sincere teacher has enabled me to work out many problems for myself, and for this I give thanks to God. Each day Truth grows dearer to me, and I endeavor to prove by my works the power of good.
