Many years ago the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, was put into my hands by one who was an earnest student of Christian Science.

From childhood I had suffered from chronic exhaustion, and later other diseases developed, one of which was a serious stomach trouble that caused me to live on a very rigid diet for several years. As I began to read our precious textbook the truth of the all-power and goodness of God so flooded my consciousness that I was immediately healed of the stomach trouble, and from that time I have been able to eat normally with no ill effects. The sense of exhaustion also disappeared within a few weeks and has never returned.

Since then several beautiful healings have taken place in our family. A sister, who was said to be in the last stages of consumption of the lungs and who had been given up by four physicians, was completely healed in four weeks through the study of our textbook. This healing remained permanent.
