The Evening Sentinel
Carlisle, Pennsylvania (Society).
Christian Science Society,... Carlisle, held dedication services on Sunday, October 12, at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The following is a brief history of the organization, which was read at each service.
On February 9, 1921, seventeen students of Christian Science met in the home of one of their group and held a regular Wednesday evening meeting, and on the following Sunday a complete church service was held. Regular services have been held since that time. A year later a Sunday School was organized, and a Reading Room was soon established.
