Human words seem inadequate to express the gratitude I feel for the many proofs of God's power that have come to me. After witnessing the healing in a few days of a friend who had suffered for years from an internal trouble, I borrowed Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and read it almost continuously for six weeks. I knew it was what I needed and had longed for since my childhood.

I have had many healings, some through my study of Science and Health and some through the help of Christian Science practitioners. A severe attack of influenza was healed in one day. I was healed of concussion very quickly with the loving help of a practitioner. Also through the help of a practitioner I was healed of blood poisoning in my hand. A wart disappeared when I realized that no material growth can adhere to a spiritual idea.

I cannot conclude without giving thanks for the privilege of class instruction, for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, and for the joy of sharing in church activities and Sunday School work.
