Having been helped and encouraged...

Having been helped and encouraged by the testimonies published in our periodicals, I should like to relate a healing which I experienced some time ago.

One Sunday morning as I was returning from Sunday School I struck and severely injured my leg while boarding a bus. When the conductor asked if I was all right I replied that I was. During the short ride to our bus stop I had time to dwell on the story of the Shunammite woman, who when asked, "Is it well with thee?" replied, "It is well" (II Kings 4:26). When I left the bus the conductor again asked if I was all right, and I assured him that all was well.

That afternoon I took a Sunday School pupil to a Christian Science lecture, doing as much walking as was necessary and enjoying every moment. Although the injury had been a severe one. I was able to carry out my church and home duties. Without Christian Science this would have been impossible. Fear had to be overcome in my thought, but a complete healing was experienced, for which I am truly grateful.
