CONSISTENT RIGHT THINKING
Is God, good, the All-in-all of true being? Christian Science affirms this to be the fact. Mortal mind denies this affirmation. On which side do we stand? Do we adhere to good or to evil?
The choice is ours. If we know the positive truth that good is All-in-all, we must not entertain doubt as to the outcome of our efforts to demonstrate it. The word "doubt" signifies a position between two points, a leg in each camp, so to speak. This is obviously not a stable position. We cannot live in Spirit and matter at the same moment any more than we can be in darkness and light at the same time: one illumines, the other obscures. Our real life is in God, good; thus it is perfect, spiritual, and secure. It is an immortal life, without beginning or ending. It is energized by Spirit and expresses unlimited spiritual power and well-being.
Man in this Life waits upon the supreme ruling of God, or good, and we have Scriptural authority for declaring the strength and ability bestowed upon him. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Isa. 40:31).
