In gratitude for the many blessings I have received through Christian Science and for the many proofs I have had of God's loving care I give this testimony. My attention was attracted to Christian Science when it healed my sister of tuberculosis of the spine. Although she had almost passed on, she was with us for several years after her healing.

Some time later I went through a period of much suffering. The attending physician expressed the opinion that I would never be able to give birth to a child. I took up the study of Christian Science in earnest and proved that I could go through childbirth harmoniously.

Christian Science was a constant help in bringing up our children. When one of them swallowed a nail, in two days it passed with no ill effects. The daily reading of the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly is a preventive as well as a curative of all error when we realize that "only through radical reliance on Truth can scientific healing power be realized" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 167).
