For many years I have very much enjoyed and appreciated the testimonies of healing printed in our periodicals. They are always an inspiration to me.

In an editorial in the Sentinel of September 29, 1951, the writer said, "Might it not be good more frequently to voice the value of the prophylactic power of Christian Science at a Wednesday testimony meeting or to mention it in a written testimony?" I have been an earnest student of Christian Science for more than forty years, and in all that time I have had almost perfect health. In every trial the clouds of sense roll by when we turn to God for help, and the sunshine of Spirit is seen and felt.

I am most grateful that I had an understanding of Christian Science with which to raise my family. Freedom from mortal laws has always been evident, and good thinking has always protected and guided us through all these years. We have been able to prove that holding thought above the mortal concept and in the realm of Spirit keeps us well and happy. Another cause for gratitude is that I had the privilege of class instruction when I was young and that I have been able to serve a branch church in many capacities.
