In gratitude to God, our Father-Mother, and to Mary Baker Eddy, our Leader, I am submitting this testimony of what Christian Science has done for me and my family.

When very young I was enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School. My father having passed on, my mother was left with three small children to support and educate. Although we experienced some difficult times, we all worked together and used our small understanding of Christian Science. In cases of sickness we never had a suggestion from our mother to try any material remedy; instead, we relied wholly on God.

I am indeed happy to have had Christian Science in bringing up our own children. We have experienced and witnessed many healings, including those of colds, pneumonia, influenza, rheumatism, results of accidents, and many other inharmonious conditions. One experience I am especially grateful for was that of painless childbirth at the time our daughter was born. In three days I was up about the house, doing what was necessary. This daughter is today using Christian Science in bringing up her own three girls.
