"Beloved, now are we the sons of God" ( I John 3:2). Now, I feel, is the time for me to glorify God for all the blessings that have come to me and my family for many years through the study and application of the beautiful truth that our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, labored so faithfully to give us. First of all I am especially grateful for having learned that any problem is a glorious opportunity to prove the power and allness of one omnipotent God, good.

Christian Science was presented to me many years ago when I was to undergo an operation; but I refused to accept Science then. Much discord resulted from the operation, and my husband was told that I would never be well and strong. Later I was given another opportunity to study Christian Science when someone kindly handed me a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I began studying and applying what I learned, and I soon realized that the doctor's verdict did not apply to the man of God's creating. I became well and strong and have remained so for all these years.

My husband was quite concerned at first about what he thought Christian Science to be; but later, after he had seen beautiful demonstrations of God's power in my case, he was healed of severe nervous headaches from which he had suffered for years. Then a sister, who knew nothing of this beautiful truth, asked for help when she was suffering from tuberculosis of the lungs, and she was referred to a consecrated Christian Science practitioner. It was a great joy to me when she became a student of Science and after much study and help was finally healed.
