I should like to add my testimony to those which tell of healings that have taken place through reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

In September. 1940, I visited the family doctor because I had a growth. He advised me to have it removed by a surgical operation and said that there was no other treatment by which it could be removed. The surgeon to whom he referred me confirmed his opinion. This strengthened my conviction that I had cancer, as my mother and my father's sister had both passed on with this disease. Although the doctors were extremely kind and considerate toward me, I felt that I was beyond their help, that the case was not a matter of sickness or health but of life or death, and that therefore the result must rest with God.

A few days later as I opened the Bible I noticed the verses; Prov (3:5, 6): "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him. and he shall direct thy paths." I decided to accept the advice contained in those verses, and I waited to be shown what to do. After a short period of time I was led to try Christian Science.
