The Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy requires the Committee "to correct in a Christian manner impositions on the public with regard to Christian Science."

This department of activity as it pertains to the press has dwindled almost to the vanishing point. During the year only four corrections were necessary. One letter answered an advertisement which urged that the first edition of Science and Health was the primary authority for study. The letter pointed out that Christian Scientists, in conformity with the written advice of Mary Baker Eddy, use her latest edition of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" for their daily study.
