Perhaps this experience of mine may be helpful to others who are concerned about final examinations in their schoolwork.

I attended the Christian Science Sunday School from as early an age as I can remember; it was a joyous experience and one that helped me very much. After my Christmas leave from the United States Naval Academy I had occasion to put my Sunday School training to a good test.

I had two and a half weeks to go until midyear examinations, which were to be the most difficult I had ever taken, and I was greatly worried. I studied hard, but I became more and more panicky, hardly sleeping at night because of my tossing around in bed. There were five big examinations, and I knew that if I failed in just one I would be re-examined or sent home. The more I thought and worried, the less knowledge I absorbed. What brought me out of my mental tailspin was Christian Science.
