After years of untold blessings and after reading many testimonies of healing in our periodicals I feel that I must add mine. When my baby boy was less than two years old the doctors said that he would not live, owing to bronchitis that had developed into a tubercular condition.

A Christian Science practitioner was called to my home one night when the baby had a high fever and was coughing with every breath. The practitioner began to talk of God. After opening her Bible and reading many of the healings by Jesus from the Gospels of John and Luke she explained that God is Love and that He created everything good and beautiful, being "of purer eyes than to behold evil" (Hab. 1:13) or to know anything of it. She said that God created man in His likeness. I became deeply interested, for her words were the most wonderful which I had ever listened to. I forgot about my baby until she left, and when I went to his crib he was sound asleep. He slept until about eleven o'clock the next morning and awoke perfectly healed. He has never had a return of the tubercular condition; and he is a grown man now.

That healing was followed by a painless birth when my next child was born. Later I was healed in one treatment of sick headaches, which I had been told were inherited and from which I had suffered since I was a young girl. There has been no return of the condition in the thirty-five years since then.
