desires a happy, harmonious environment in which to carry out his daily duties.
What
a great opportunity lies in the appointive position of soloist in a Church of Christ, Scientist! One who has been chosen to serve in this capacity can rejoice in the knowledge that in this position, provided for in the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, he may fulfill the divine demands of Soul.

"Would it not be the greatest inconsistency to leave out of one's college experience an association with the highest of all learning, Christian Science?
After years of untold blessings and after reading many testimonies of healing in our periodicals I feel that I must add mine.
I wish to acknowledge my indebtedness to Christian Science.
It is with deep gratitude for the teachings of Christian Science, given us by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, that I submit this testimony.
An editorial in the Sentinel of September 29, 1951, entitled "The Prophylactic Art," describes the preventive power of Christian Science as I have experienced it for many years.
I received my first healing in Christian Science before I knew anything about its teachings.
Perhaps this experience of mine may be helpful to others who are concerned about final examinations in their schoolwork.
My heart is filled with gratitude for Christian Science.
It is many years since I took up the study of Christian Science, and so many blessings have come to me that I feel I should send in my testimony in the hope that it may encourage others to press on in times of need.
Deep gratitude impels me to submit another testimony of the many benefits that I have received through an understanding of Christian Science, which has enriched my life with joy, peace, and health.
