Deep gratitude impels me to submit another testimony of the many benefits that I have received through an understanding of Christian Science, which has enriched my life with joy, peace, and health. It has been my great privilege to study the Bible in the light of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, for over forty-seven years. The application of the truths studied has healed me of every ill that has tried to manifest itself.

About twenty Years ago my first testimony was published in the Sentinel. It told of my being healed of tubercular glands in one absent treatment from a Christian Science practitioner. That healing, which occurred in 1904, has remained permanent. Since that time I have witnessed many and various healings in our family, and financial difficulties have been replaced be the manifestations of plenty.

Some years ago a tumorous growth appeared on my arm. It enlarged rapidly, and I became quite fearful. I earnestly began to study and apply these passages from our textbook: "Only through radical reliance on Truth can scientific healing power be realized" (p. 167), and, "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive" (p. 463). Also the eighth chapter of Romans was daily read and studied. In a few days I noticed that the growth had disappeared. I was completely healed by being "absent from the body, and ... present with the Lord." as the Apostle Paul admonished (II Cor. 5:8).
