"To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings" are the opening words of the Preface to Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I early learned to lean on this sustaining infinite, God, and my days have indeed been big with blessings.

I am grateful that as a young girl I had the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School and that now our daughters have the same privilege. For all the faithful teachers and workers in the Sunday School I express gratitude.

At birth our eldest daughter's neck was injured so that it was impossible for her head to remain in the correct position. When the condition was made known to me the thought came immediately (ibid., p. 215), "Whatever is governed by God, is never for an instant deprived of the light and might of intelligence and Life." I knew that God's idea exists now and forever at the standpoint of perfection, since it is an emanation of the Father-Mother God.
