I am humbly grateful for this...

I am humbly grateful for this opportunity to bear witness to the power of the Word of God in my experience. Among my greatest blessings I count first the privilege of growing up in a home where Christian Science was known and practiced implicitly. This sound foundation of learning to put God first has been the basis for an abundance of joy-filled experiences and has enabled me to face trials with the calm and assurance of inevitable triumph. My second greatest blessing was active membership in a Christian Science Organization at college. The blessing consisted in the encouragement such membership affords to be steadfast in Christian Science in the face of philosophies contrary to this Science. One cannot help but emerge stronger for having tested and found firm a foundation of spiritual values.

After my husband and I had established a home of our own the opportunities to use the practical truth of Christian Science in daily living seemed to multiply a hundredfold. It has been necessary to find a new home many times, and each time our needs have been met quickly and completely through reliance on God, who knows and supplies man's every need.

Although I have not been faced with many great physical problems, I am most grateful for the healing of a severe case of influenza. The healing took several months to accomplish, but this length of time afforded opportunity for consistent and consecrated study of Science, enabling me to gain a clearer spiritual understanding of health and thereafter to find more consistent good health manifested.
