In speaking of Jesus' raising of Lazarus, Mrs. Eddy writes (Science and Health, pp. 493, 494), "Who dares to doubt this consummate test of the power and willingness of divine Mind to hold man forever intact in his perfect state, and to govern man's entire action?"

In all humility I must admit that I did doubt. In fact, was so skeptical about the healing efficacy of Christian Science that I actually scoffed when a dear friend presented this blessed religion to me at a time when I needed it more than I realized. However, in a very short time my attitude changed completely. After witnessing proofs of Christian Science healing, proofs too numerous to record, I knew that never again could I doubt. So with a prayer that some doubting Thomas will read these words and be helped as I was, this testimony is lovingly submitted.

Through Christian Science treatment I have been healed of chronic infections, blood poisoning, verrucosity, or warty skin, which covered the entire bottom of one of my feet, sinus infection, a chipped elbow bone, burns, colds, headaches, an impacted wisdom tooth, and hives. Also a very tenacious smoking habit, as well as social drinking, was overcome, to mention only some of the phases of error which have been cleaned out of my experience.
