OUR WORLD

Pearl Strachan Hurd

What is our world? Examine
Our thoughts, our reach
For reality. Our grasp of truth
Establishes for each
His environment, his view
Of infinite creation,
Which has no boundaries
Of continent or nation.

Each, alone, must subdue
His wilderness of doubt
And, trusting, find the stars
And then look out,
Look out from highest point,
To find—what shall he find
But all forever made
By everlasting Mind!
