After more than thirty years of receiving such wonderful benefits as the healing of many disease and the overcoming of lack, I think it behooves me to give my testimony to the efficacy of Christian Science. Through the teachings of this Science I have been healed of poverty, loneliness, stomach trouble, nervousness, fear, and many other troublesome conditions.

Mary Baker Eddy, our beloved Leader, says on page 336 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," "God, the divine Principle of man, and man in God's likeness are inseparable, harmonious, and eternal." Through the understanding of man's inseparability from God, who is All, I learned that what appears as a healing is primarily a change of viewpoint, because there is in reality nothing to be healed, since God, good, fills all space.

The one thing for which I am most grateful is the overcoming of criticism and resentment. These false qualities of thought kept me ill and poverty-stricken for many years. I learned that at the bottom of a great many diseases and cases of poverty are resentment and criticism. I thank God that I am learning to separate in my thinking all of God's ideas from the beliefs of the carnal mind, and I am striving to see my fellow men as God sees them.
