How great is the goodness of the...
How great is the goodness of the Lord! At a time when I was in great need my attention was called to Christian Science. My legs were paralyzed, and the doctors had given up all hope for my recovery. My wife went to see a practitioner she knew, and work in Christian Science was lovingly done for me.
The practitioner gave me a copy of the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, which I studied. How inexpressibly grateful and happy I was when, soon afterwards, I was able to move my legs by myself. I made rapid progress because I recognized that, as Mrs. Eddy states in Science and Health (p. 283), "Mind is the source of all movement, and there is no inertia to retard or check its perpetual and harmonious action."
I can now get up on and down from my truck, which I use in my work, and can walk well without any difficulty whatsoever. The healing took place in 1948. I am grateful for the patient work done for me by the practitioner.
