Many years ago I began the study of Christian Science, not for a physical healing, but for a better understanding of the Bible. The teaching I had received about this great book from an orthodox church of which I was a member had never satisfied me. I am deeply grateful that through Christian Science many beautiful and helpful passages from the Bible have been illumined for me in a most wonderful way. The healings that have ensued in our family have been most gratifying.

My nephew was healed of poliomyelitis. Eight days after the attack he was back on a tractor, helping to put hay into the barn. He has since been stronger in every way than before the illness. Other healings in our family have been those of influenza, fractured bones, headaches, and sinus infection.

I should like to express my sincere gratitude to God for the loving help given by the practitioner during these healings, for Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and for Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.
