Jesus said (John 10:10), "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." It is now almost twenty years since I was instantaneously and permanently healed of heart and thyroid gland trouble through reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, which was lovingly offered me by two dear friends in my time of need. A specialist had told my mother that unless I received the greatest possible care I could expect to live only twelve months.

Years ago, through a wise practitioner's lovingly directing my thought to Jesus' admonition (Matt. 6:33), "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you," the problem of supply was met, and it has not had to be dealt with again.

We have witnessed many Christian Science healings in our home. A child who appeared to be passing on with acute bronchitis was completely healed through a practitioner's clear understanding of the operation of Truth. Another child, suffering from retarded mental development, was completely cured through Christian Science by our constant knowing that man is perfect now and that we do not have to wait until some future time to witness healing. The child is now healthy, is considered to be of above average intelligence, and has attended the Christian Science Sunday School since she was able to walk.
