With a grateful heart I wish to...

With a grateful heart I wish to relate the wonderful protection my daughter experienced on her way to work one morning. Her automobile brakes locked and failed to function at a railroad crossing where there was no warning signal. A train was coming, and the engineer failed to see the automobile until too late. Her car was caught, dragged seventy feet, and demolished, striking a power pole, which was knocked to the ground directly behind the car.

The engineer had to cut the canvas top of her automobile in order to get my daughter out. She was untouched, save for a few runs in her nylon stockings, and continued on her way to work. A newspaper reporter asked her what she was thinking during this time. She replied that when she realized her predicament she knew that God was her Life and that He was right there with her.

Words cannot express my thankfulness and gratitude to God for Christian Science and its revelator, Mrs. Eddy. For the many healings and blessings that have come to me and my family, for our loving practitioners, and for everything Christian Science stands for, I am very grateful.—(Mrs.) Cecilia Ohlund, Los Angeles, California.
