"Glory be to God, and peace to the struggling hearts! Christ hath rolled away the stone from the door of human hope and faith, and through the revelation and demonstration of life in God, hath elevated them to possible at-one-ment with the spiritual idea of man and his divine Principle, Love" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 45). I am so very grateful to be able to testify to the healing power of Christian Science.

For many years I had an unsightly and painful wart on my finger. From time to time I did work about it, as I had been taught to do in Christian Science; but in the back of my mind I held the mental reservation that if it became too annoying I could have it cut out. I noticed it was getting larger and more painful; so finally I decided that no matter what happened I would rely wholeheartedly on Christian Science alone for healing. I resolved not to look at the condition, and I did daily mental work, holding to the fact that Love dissolves all error and that the real man is without spot or blemish. I continued to work along these lines for about two weeks, after which I casually looked at the finger and noticed that the wart was only half its former size. In a few more days, as I continued the mental work, the wart completely dissolved, and the finger was perfectly free.

My little boy has been attending the Christian Science Sunday School since he was three years of age, and he has had many wonderful, quick healings. One of them was an instantaneous healing of ivy poisoning. He came home crying one day, after playing in a weeded area with some children who had told him that he would get ivy poisoning. The blisters covered both legs, but I calmly explained to him that God could not possibly make a plant which could poison His perfect child and that it was only the false belief that people held about the plant which caused the undesirable condition. In less than half an hour his legs were completely healed, and that was the end of his suffering.
