I first heard of Christian Science through the healing of my sister, who had been an invalid as far back as I could remember. Some time later I was healed of malaria; I had been subject to chills and fever all my life. Although I was grateful for this healing, I did not then take up the study of Science.

Later I married a doctor, and it seemed pleasanter to me at that time to go along with him. For years I endured much suffering from migraine, colds, and other ailments. At length I became so discouraged and depressed that I lost all desire to live. Finally, when it seemed that I was at the end of my tether, I remembered my sister's healing and decided to try Christian Science. It was a blessed day for me when I made this decision, for Christian Science healed me. Not all at once, but gradually, as I gained a clearer understanding of the truth, my ailments disappeared. I have not suffered from migraine for over thirty years, nor have I taken any medicine.

I have had instantaneous healings. On one occasion I suffered from hives; the eruption spread over my body and the itching was maddening. Finding that I could not meet this error myself, I called a practitioner, and in two or three minutes the itching ceased and the eruption disappeared.
