FROM ANNUAL REPORTS OF CHRISTIAN SCIENCE COMMITTEES ON PUBLICATION

Exhibit at Capital Brings Inspiration

Washington, District of Columbia

The permanent exposition "Christian Science World Activities on Display" continues to demonstrate its utility as a means of bringing enlightenment and healing to many and as a useful tool for the promotion and extension of Christian Science.

A Mohammedan from Turkey, a captain in the Turkish Army, came in to investigate Christian Science and was pleased with all he saw and heard. He asked how to become a student. He was quite distressed to find that Turkey had no Christian Science churches and wanted to know why The Mother Church in Boston did not start one there. It was explained to him that Christian Science churches grow from within. After seeing the vitarama, showing the inception of societies and churches, he went away very happy in the thought of taking the news back to his own country.
