With sincere and heartfelt gratitude to God I offer the following testimony of healings.

One day, when I first knew of Christian Science, I became desperately ill with a high fever and other symptoms of pneumonia. I was unable to move from where I was sitting at the time. I told my husband that I needed help. When I learned that he had called a practitioner, a sense of peace and an assurance of healing came over me, and I silently gave thanks because I knew that with Christian Science help there would be no period of convalescence. Gradually I could feel the fever leaving me, and within an hour I was well and able to prepare for bed. The next morning I went about my household duties perfectly free. Two important things were unfolded to me through this healing: first, I was ready to accept Christian Science help, and secondly, I expected to be healed quickly. Each healing experience is important to us, as it is a building in consciousness of the allness of God that can never be torn down.

The lesson of the parable which Jesus told of the man who built his house upon a rock so that the wind and waves which beat upon it could not move it, was very helpful to me when I was going through a severe trial. The truth I had learned and demonstrated was my house built upon the eternal rock, God, which error, regardless of its claims, cannot move.
