TRUE EDUCATION AND GUIDANCE

[Of Special Interest to Young People]

Vastly increased military mobilization in many nations of the world is resulting in extensive revision of the educational and vocational plans of thousands of young men and women. These necessary adjustments to new responsibilities are providing challenging opportunities to Christian Scientists to demonstrate their understanding of man's everlasting oneness with the unerring guidance and protection of God.

From the human viewpoint there appears to be widespread confusion, and even cynicism, among young people as cherished plans become delayed or curtailed. Once again the so-called carnal mind utters its taunting cry that youth has been trapped by world events and that it may be many years before normal study and employment conditions return.

Real as these conditions may seem to be from a human outlook, the demonstrable fact remains that nothing has touched man's identity or his destiny as the spiritual image and likeness of God. And for this reason nothing ever has deflected, and nothing ever can deflect, man from his constant and harmonious expression of his Father-Mother God.
