"Praise ye the Lord

"Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation," sang the Psalmist (Ps. 111:1).

In praise and gratitude to God for His goodness to the children of men, I give this testimony. A very persistent case of stoppage of the bowels was healed through the application of Christian Science. Treatment was asked for and lovingly given by a consecrated practitioner, who immediately allayed my fear. She also gave me citations from Mrs. Eddy's works which roused my thinking. With this awakening came a much greater desire for study, and from the unfoldment that followed came the healing of inaction. The healing was complete when I refused to be concerned with the physical body and turned my thought Spiritward, perceiving Mind's perfect, harmonious law of activity.

We have had many healings in our home, among which are those of a severe case of leakage of the heart, backaches, burns, and scarlet fever. A case of mumps was healed in a few hours.
