LETTERS TO THE PRESS FROM CHRISTIAN SCIENCE COMMITTEES ON PUBLICATION

May I correct a misstatement which appeared in your recent report of a meeting of the Guild of Health. Christian Science is not a "faith-healing movement," as the speaker at that meeting erroneously suggested. It is founded upon enlightened spiritual understanding of the law of God, "who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases" (Ps. 103:3).
Christian Science brings to light the spiritual, provable knowledge of this law and, through thousands of carefully verified cases of healing of all manner of sickness and sin, proves beyond doubt that a spiritual understanding of this law enables each one of us to demonstrate freedom from sin, disease, or discord of any name or nature.
