Christian Science came into my life some forty ears ago, when things looked very dark to me. As a child I was always considered delicate and was not allowed to engage in many of the activities that boys of my age took part in. For eight or nine years after I grew up, I had medical treatment regularly, and I kept getting worse. I lost more than thirty pounds in less than two months. The condition was diagnosed as lung, heart, and stomach trouble.

Within three months after I took up the study of Christian Science, I was like a new man. All the difficulties disappeared, and they have never returned. Since that time Christian Science has been my only physician.

I am very grateful for our church services, our periodicals, and for the practitioners who stand ever read to help and encourage us. For slightly more than three years I was seventy-five miles from a Church of Christ, Scientist, and it was then that the broadcasts of Christian Science services and programs were most helpful and appreciated.
