From childhood I had been seeking to know God; but it was not until after Christian Science was brought to our home through a friend that I found the only true God, who is Love.

Through the loving help of a practitioner I was healed of grief when my dear mother passed on. I learned to know that there is no separation in God, Mind, and that God is my Father and Mother.

Some time after I had lost my material home, I got a glimpse of my real home, and I recognized that it is in God, the Consciousness of good. I saw that I had never lost this home, and I could never be out of it. God's child always was, is, and ever will be in the presence of God, Spirit, the only home there is. Mary Baker Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 254), "Pilgrim on earth, thy home is heaven; stranger, thou art the guest of God." Becoming conscious of God's ever-presence dispels all sense of loneliness.
