"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you" (Matt. 7:7). "Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it" (Rev. 3:8). These promises were fulfilled in my experience.

About two years ago I was troubled with a serious congestion of the kidney. Although I had gone through a long period of indifference to Christian Science, I decided to ask for the help of a Christian Science practitioner. At first I doubted my worthiness to receive help, and this erroneous thinking led me to continue taking medicine without the practitioner's knowledge. The condition did not improve, but gradually grew worse.

Then a moment came when I felt God's nearness, and I dismissed the thought that I was unworthy and knew that I must claim my inheritance of good. From then on I took no more medicine. In a very short time the temperature became normal, and the condition completely disappeared.
