When I was a child my mother and I attended a Christian Science church service, and ever since I have had the joy of uninterrupted attendance. During the intervening years, active work in many capacities in a Christian Science Society has blessed me by the manifestation of enlarged understanding and a recognition of God as infinite Love —ever present, All. Many unlovely traits of character have been destroyed during these years.
To illustrate the practicability of the words of our Master, Christ Jesus, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32), the following experience stands out to me.
