I have been a student of Christian Science for over thirty-five years, and it is with a deep sense of gratitude that I give this testimony. I have derived much good from the articles and testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals.

When I was still a young girl, my parents became interested in Christian Science. I was a witness to many wonderful healings which took place in our home, and they convinced me that this Science is the truth of being. At one time I had a severe attack of appendicitis and was in great pain. Before we became interested in this religion, several of these attacks had been overcome by total rest and a rigid diet, but the condition was never healed. The attack came an hour before I was to leave for school. My mother worked earnestly for me in Christian Science, and after a little while I got up, dressed, and was able to go to school on my bicycle free from pain. This was my first healing, and it has been permanent.

I had Christian Science treatment at the birth of our three children. Before the birth of the first child, the doctor informed us that it would be very difficult for me because of an internal deformity. The birth was difficult, but no medical aid was given, and much help was received through Christian Science. At the birth of our second child, the doctor declared the deformity was gone, and he was amazed at the ease and harmony experienced. Christian Science has been a never-failing aid in bringing up our children. Many difficulties, such as so-called children's diseases, the effects of accidents, and other inharmonies, have been overcome.
