Over thirty years ago I had a testimony of healing published in the Sentinel. During the intervening years I have had so many proofs of the power of Christian Science to heal that I thought I would like once more to add to the paean of praise that is going forth every week.

Some time ago I became conscious of a severe and constant pain in my back. My sister, with whom I was spending the afternoon, and I tried to see the unreality of this condition, but it grew worse. When I arrived home that evening, the pain was so intense that I called a practitioner for help. He came to my home and worked for me for several hours, until I felt some relief. I spent the next day in bed, but the following morning I was up and the healing was complete.

Five years ago I sustained a great shock when my husband suddenly passed on. I can never be grateful enough for the compassionate love and understanding that were shown me by this same practitioner in helping me over difficult places. I was teaching in a public school at the time and was able to continue my work without interruption.
