NO DUMPING
THIS is a true story about a boy named David. David had attended the Christian Science Sunday School for as long as he could remember. There he learned the Commandments and Beatitudes, and also how to do the three things that Moses told the children of Israel to do (Duet. 5:1): "Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, [1] that ye may learn them, [2] and keep, [3] and do them."
David learned much about God, who is the Father and Mother of us all, and about Jesus, who obeyed God and healed all kinds of sickness and sin. He learned that Mary Baker Eddy, too, loved and obeyed God, and that she followed Jesus' teachings in healing both sickness and sin.
David knew and loved the Lord's Prayer. He found, however, that he could better understand the meaning of this prayer which Jesus taught his disciples when he read Mrs. Eddy's spiritual interpretation of it on pages 16 and 17 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
