I am most grateful to God for Christian Science and for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

Over thirty years ago I was instantaneously healed of appendicitis. At the time I knew nothing about this Science, but a sister had experienced a wonderful healing and wanted me to have Christian Science help. I declined and went to a surgeon. After a thorough examination he pronounced the difficulty appendicitis, saying that I should have an immediate operation. This I was afraid of, and upon my return home asked my sister to call the practitioner. I did not think Science could really help me, but felt it would do no harm as I had been in bed for over two weeks and the pain was severe.

The practitioner visited with me for about an hour and a half. When she left, I walked to the door with her, completely free. I shall never cease to be grateful for this healing, as well as many others, and for the knowledge that Christian Science heals.
