It is with a heart filled with deepest gratitude to God and to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for the many healings I have had through Christian Science that I am prompted to write the following testimony of an experience which proved God's law superior to the so-called law of matter.

Over six years ago I found myself in a most distressing physical condition. Upon having a diagnosis and blood test by a doctor, I was told that I had an incurable blood disease and that the law compelled me to have injections by a physician. This was most discouraging to me, for my father and sister had passed on from this dread disease.

Although I had been applying the truths of Christian Science for twenty years, fear and frustration overwhelmed me, and mortal mind told me I had little chance to live much longer. I seemed to lie in a wilderness. However, upon asking for help from a sincere Christian Science practitioner, who at once denied emphatically the seeming power of this disease, I began to realize that my thinking was erroneous and that "with God all things are possible."
