FATHER OF LIGHT

Father of light and of all that is fair,
Nothing can shadow Your infinite care,
You are the strength of our life and our stay,
You our protection by night and by day.
Oh, may we dwell in Your haven of light
Where there is nought that can injure or blight,
Far into realms of inviolate thought.
Into the treasures Your wisdom hath wrought;
There to abide, where the vision is clear,
Safe in Your presence, so strong and so dear,
Feeling Your strength and enjoying Your store,
You are the God we forever adore.
