WISEMEN
The
Wisemen long ago
brought gifts to Bethlehem
of gold and frankincense and myrrh
on Christmas Day.
The wise men of today
bring gifts of rarest worth
to help and heal humanity
each dawning day.
Their gold is purity,
expressed in lives of love;
their frankincense is service sweet
with selflessness;
their myrrh is joy perfumed
to gladden hearts once sad.
So, meeting needs, such gifts as these
can only bless.
