Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Fremont, Michigan (Society).

Christian Science Society, Fremont, dedicated its new church on Sunday, July 30, 1950. Two dedicatory services, to which the public was invited, were held, one of them in the morning and the other in the afternoon.

The new edifice at the corner of East Main Street and Darling Avenue is of Georgian design, constructed of red brick and tile, and is fireproof throughout. The richly decorated interior has deep rose walls and a gray ceiling with gray carpeting and upholstered theater-type seats to match. The Readers' platform is at the north end of the auditorium. The Sunday School room at the rear of the Readers' platform is decorated in turquoise and gray.
