It is with much gratitude that I testify to the healing and regeneration power brought into my experience through the study and application of Christian Science. Through radical reliance on the statements of Truth given in our beloved Leader's writings, I have found a more liberating sense of existence and have realized God's ever-presence in innumerable instances. Many physical difficulties have been met and overcome immediately, such as scarlet fever, broken bones, double pneumonia, mastoiditis, and many others that were not classified.

Increased joy has come to me through a better understanding of Mrs. Eddy's statement found in Science and Health (p. 269), "Metaphysics resolves things into thoughts, and exchanges the objects of sense for the ideas of Soul." Thus I have learned that right where I am is the presence of God, giving me joy, happiness, companionship, supply, fruitage, and a perfect state of being.

Traveling through the desert one day I saw that the road was leading far from anything resembling habitation and was becoming like a trail. As we had passed no crossroad for quite few miles, I decided to turn back. As I turned the car, one of the wheels sank into a sand trap, and I could not get the car out under its own power.
