Edgemont, South Dakota (Society).

The church edifice of Christian Science Society, Edgemont, was dedicated on Sunday, April 23, 1950, during the regular service. A history of the church was read as follows:

"Christian Science was first introduced in Edgemont in 1925. Meetings were held in homes and a rented room until 1938, when a small residence was purchased. This was attractively remodeled and has been the church home since that time. In 1940 the group was organized and gained recognition as a society by The Mother Church in Boston, Massachusetts."—Tribune.
