I have gained so much help and inspiration from the printed testimonies of healing in The Christian Science Journal and the Sentinel that I with to add mine.

I am grateful for several years of study in a Christian Science Sunday School. There I learned the fundamental law that God, divine Love, is All. In those early years my gratitude was usually expressed for the protection I received through daily study of the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly so that the problems of youth which seemed to beset other girls of my age did not attach themselves to me.

In the early nineteen-thirties, however, at the time the so-called depression, I found it necessary to seek a new position because the company I was with merged with a larger firm and the employees were discharged. As I was the support of my mother and myself, the immediate need for another position loomed acutely before me. I remember I found it difficult to know how to work metaphysically to destroy the belief of lack, but Truth unfolded the understanding that divine Love is constant, is permanent, and persists in maintaining its idea, man, at the standpoint of completeness; therefore the spiritual qualities I expressed were now and forever available. In this way it was seen that man is always in his right place, and fear and discouragement were overcome.
