I have much cause to be grateful...

I have much cause to be grateful for Christian Science, as I have experienced many blessings through its study and application.

One healing for which I shall never cease to be grateful is that of grief. As far back as I can remember, the passing on of a loved one was something that I feared greatly. While I was caring for this one during an illness, the thought of death did not occur to me more than once or twice, but when the time did come, all grief was lifted instantly, and there was no feeling of shock or loss. This seemed especially outstanding, since for many years we had been together almost continuously. I am deeply grateful for the loving help of practitioner and kind friends who stood by me during this time.

I have also experienced healings of cuts, burns, warts, and many minor ailments. When the healing of warts came I do not know. All I can remember is that I had thirteen on one hand and some on the other, and at one time I had had a very serious and unhappy experience in attempting to remove them medically. I did some Science work and then forgot about the warts, and the next time I thought of them, about a year later, they were completely gone.
